The Winter Gardens Blackpool has been described as the “most magnificent palace of amusement in the World”. Since it was first opened in 1878, through rebuilding and refurbishment, the venue has retained a special place in the history of the Town, providing an unrivalled diversity of theatres, ballrooms and meeting rooms.  In particular since the Empress Ballroom was commissioned in 1896, as a competitor to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, the Winter Gardens has always been synonymous with dancing - hosting 5 major Championships each year with competitors from as many as 70 countries taking part. Our events will take place in the first floor Spanish Hall which is a stunning and unique venue designed by Andrew Mazzei in the style of an Andalucian village and opened in 1931.
