The Claddagh Restaurant is a member of Kilkenny's good food circle and is also home to the hearty full Irish breakfast served daily from 7am, and this is the setting for the start of Holidays4dancers guests' day.
Dancers can experience the traditional Irish Hospitality in the Paddock Bar, where they can enjoy the great energy and buzz and interaction with the locals.
The Leisure Centre boasts one of the finest facilities in the South East, with a 19-metre deck level pool, heated seat area, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. These facilities are included in your booking. Lavender Spa consists of 7 treatment rooms along with the peace and tranquility of a relaxation room. There is also an on-site hair salon so all pampering needs can be catered for on-site!
From the moment you roll off the boat, you just feel the 'Irish Experience' because the greenery is all around you and the people are so friendly. Journey time to the hotel 1hr and 20 mins for Paul, (1hr and 45 mins for everyone else), and is a particularly pleasant introduction to the beauty and character of this unique country.
Old Kilkenny town has much to interest our dancers and Cork 90 mins away (ask Paul for his route!) and Dublin only 60 mins drive, these are two places worth a visit, but if you prefer more local explorations there is lots to see and do in the town.

The Hotel
The Springhill Court Hotel is a 4 star standard hotel with comfortable bedrooms and sparkling bathrooms. The restaurant breakfast had all the usual choices you would expect of Ireland and the UK plus a couple of local ingredients/breads etc. All self service, the breakfast staff were attentive to our guests for teas and toast and any other requests not on the breakfast table. The omelettes were a special treat.
Evening dinner was without doubt the best we have experienced in our 11 years in the business at any hotel and as you might imagine, our guests did not miss the opportunity to partake... and naturally, getting the dancing started proved to be a challenge as everyone was fully sated and imbibed. The ballroom was air conditioned, comfortable and the floor was a joy to dance on.

Dancers... The Irish holiday was truly a memorable experience and for those who have 'thought about Ireland' but never actually got there, we can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly as your base to visit and explore the Emerald Isle.
