A Personal View – Costa Brava 2007 with Paul and Carole Eden of Holidays 4 Dancers 7 June, 2007 PLATJA D'ARO Well….we awoke at 6pm this morning to a glorious blue sky in the resort of Platja D'Aro and it is now 9.10 pm. we are back home in slightly less conducive weather conditions of Manchester and as exhausted as we are (having unpacked, filled the washer, visited the supermarket and parents etc.), we just had to put a few words down as we are still feeling exhuberant and elated. Our first visit with Eden Nights has left us feeling disappointed that we did not discover this company previously. As experienced cruisers and travellers we thought a 7 night break with likeminded people might prove to be an interesting alternative - and how right we were ! A typical day would be rising early, eager to meet up with people who became great friends; relaxing by the pool taking in the sun; sunbathing on a beautifully clean beach; strolling down to the marina, pausing for a drink in Friends Bar and people watching, or taking a well organised trip, with evening dancing to follow. The The ability to walk over and chat to people who we had met 24 hours previously was second nature, the friendliness of the group was superb. The easy going atmosphere complemented by the professional and total dedication of Carole, Paul and their team not to mention Anna who was probably one of the best representatives we have ever met, made the holiday immensely enjoyable for both Gerry and I. The ballroom was a superb location for the evening dancing and having read and heard about Paul's music itinerary, we were not disappointed. It was evident that Paul knew how dancers appreciate the correct tempo and mood, his choice of music was excellent and we personally could have danced until we dropped - in fact I did ! How we wished we had opted for the 2 week holiday but this was a taster for hopefully things to come. We are currently planning the Santiago Trail holiday in September and intend to add on a week in Cascais for a rest ! With very best wishes to you all. Ruth & Gerry Pearl
