Food and Restaurant: Two inspection visits at the time of going to print and we found the food to be hot, delicious and served promptly in the restaurant. Proposed menus for our holidays look typical of our other 3star hotels and Carole and I are happy to commend them to you. Your meals are self service in the morning with your evening meals served at the table. The restaurant ambience is comfortable with upgrading due in the next year but plans and visuals were in the preparation stage at the time of going to print. Rooms & Public Areas: All the rooms are being refurbished to a high standard with contemporary decoration similar to that of the sister hotel Durrant nr Bideford. Carole and I are satisfied that all our clients will be delighted with room and bathroom standards at this hotel. Much the same can be said of the public rooms and bar, which are currently extremely comfortable prior to the refit taking place throughout 2008. The ballroom with a dedicated floor area of some 62' x 24' is a delight and we are certain this ballroom will have a high approval rating by our dancers. Nearby: Literally just across the road from the hotel is the Uk's first and foremost outlet shopping centre, Clarks Village. With over 90 outlet shops to choose from offering up to 60% OFF rrp on a host of famous brands, you have all the retail therapy you will need. |
